Ok, I finally have unlimited wi-fi access so I can start catching up with the missed days of my trip. We landed in rainy Paris on the 23rd, and I was soooo disappointed cause there was sooo much that I wanted to do here! Luckily it cleared up a little the next day so we could visit Montemarre, a beautiful church up on the hill in a cute little part of town. The one thing bad about this place was that it was FILLED with people asking for money in their own special ways, and they can get VERY ANNOYING and very pushy!! It totally ruined our experience. One guy started tying some kind of string around my finger saying when I get to the top of the stairs, tie the string and make a wish. I had no idea what was going on but good thing Randy came to rescue me and we moved along. The next lady came up to us (actually it was two ladies) and asked us to sign our names on a clipboard. We told them no, and tried to walk away, but they were persistant. We finally gave in and signed our names. After we signed our names of course they asked if we had any money to spare. We were so annoyed because we knew that this was gonna happen. Randy just said no and started to walk away. The lady actually grabbed his arm and yelled at him "HEY! DON'T IGNORE ME!!" Randy was pissed that she actually had the nerve to grab him and yelled at her to leave him alone. We decided to leave the place after that. We didn't get a chance to go in, we figured that there'd be more of those people up there so we didn't wanna take a chance. Talk about ruining our day!!
Here's Randy trying to act like he's happy...
After walking around for a few hours in the rain it finally cleared up and we went for some ice cream :)
This was Randy's...sorry came out blurry, this is with his p-n-s so it came out junky. It was this decadent chocolate cake with chocolate and vanilla ice cream, topped with a chocolate fudge sauce...YUMMMMMM
I went for just the plain chocolate, this is my favorite. This is Berthillion ice cream, I swear it's the creamiest and most delicious ice cream I've ever had. If you ever get a chance to eat it, you should. IT'S THAT GOOD. We tried it the last time we were in Paris, the tour guide brought us to an ice cream shop and he said this is the best ice cream he's ever had.
Ok. So this is our bathroom. What is the first thing you are thinking? The first thing I thought was "how da hell am I gonna take a shower??" There's a tub, a hand held nozzle thingy, but no door or curtain!! Basically I had to sit in the tub and hold the nozzle over my head. I was grossed out cause I never take baths in public places (unless it's an onsen in Japan) so you can imagine how I felt taking a bath here. This is the kicker. It was a very small tub, so my big butt barely fit in the damn thing. When I was rinsing myself off in the tub, the water would collect behind of me because the water had nowhere to go. I had to lift up one butt cheek so I could "release the dam" and the water would go down the drain. HOW HUMILIATING!!! Randy was laughing because of course with his skinny ass he didn't seem to have that problem. UGH.
Stooopid hotel with no wi-fi and irritating tub.

AHAHAHAHA!!!! So funny your tub story! The ice cream looked fabulous . . . both of them. Thanks for the chocolate goodies. I just had the giant m-n-m ones . . . really good . . . gotta ration since I'm supposedly dieting.
After all these years Les, you are still the same! I have so much fun reading your posts... just like being with you.
Jalna -- glad you enjoy the goodies. Don't offer me any cause I gotta diet now too...
Jenny -- I'm assuming you're talking about the ass/tub story? Uh, yah. Not pleasant.
