Our Anniversary

Hilton Hawaiian Village

Ok, I've been busy (and a little lazy!) so this post is kinda late...Randy and I celebrated our anniversary by staying a night at Hilton Hawaiian Village. It was very relaxing and we actually had a good time!

This was the view from our room when we checked in...we were on the 27th floor of the Rainbow Tower

I brought my tripod to get a few shots while the sun was going down...I didn't get the sunset because it was right behind the wall of our lanai :(

I also woke up early hoping for a beautiful sunset...I was unsuccessful. Ugh! I woke up at 5:30 for nothing!

The beach is very beautiful when no one is on it!!

It was 7:00 and we were bored out of our minds so we decided to take a walk along the beach...

These Japanese tourists were so cute learning how to hula...at 7 in the morning!! Yikes! They're on vacation! Are they nuts?

Kaka'ako Park

This is my co-worker Arlene...she's almost 7 months pregnant and she asked me if I could do some maternity pics. I was quite nervous, I had never done this before! I mean how the heck do you pose someone with their belly sticking out without having them look fat?!?! Good thing she's a petite girl, I didn't have much problems with her :) This was actually a really good experience for me, and thank you Arlene for being so patient and such a good sport!

This started out as a silhouette pic, it didn't quite work so I tried to play with it in photoshop...I kinda like the grainy look of it!

Ko'olina Resort

Meet the Correa Family. This is mommy Fredee and daddy La'anui, and their two boys, Brayton (3), and Brodey (2). Fredee is a good friend of Randy's, they work together at HMC...I was excited to do this shoot because this is my first time out to the lagoons, and I've always wanted to go there.

Brody on the left, Brayton on the right...I think...hahahahaaa!! I still can't tell them apart! Sorry Fredee!!

I got La'anui to smile!! I'm very proud of this picture!!

Kapiolani Park

These are my two dear friends Blair and Fiona. I met them back in 2005 when I first joined the Marathon Clinic....geez, has it been that long already?? Anyways, they had asked me if I could take a few pictures of their son's U8 soccer team and of course I jumped at the chance!

So I took three individual shots of each kid. These boys were sooooooooo cute!! This is Zach, their son

This is Kaeo. I can't believe the skill he has at 7 years old. Mark my words...he will be AWESOME someday...

I guess there's no such thing as enemies, eh?
