Frisco, TX
Well, not really Dallas, but close...Melissa and I have HL7 and Corepoint training all week in Frisco, Texas. What's in Frisco? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. There's not much in Dallas either. If you have any suggestions we'd be happy to hear from you!
After our 2 hour delay at LAX, we finally arrived in Dallas around 4 pm. No kidding, it actually took us one stinkin hour to get out of the airport. We kept driving round and round in circles, there was construction all over the place and the stuuuupid airport is just plain confusing. By the time we reached Frisco we were starving. We weren't sure where to eat so I hopped on Yelp and found Babe's Chicken, a popular fried chicken restaurant. It seemed to have good reviews so we decided to give it a try.
It's a really cute restaurant, it has a really old and rustic feeling
Keep in mind, this is dinner for TWO people...we had no idea what we were in for! Did I mention that these are UNLIMITED side dishes?!?!
I swear there were like 8 pieces of chicken in here!!
I forgot to get the pictures of it with the gravy...
And there was even dessert! I had the chocolate meringue pie and Melissa had the apple cobbler with ice cream
AND THIS WAS OUR BILL!
I would've taken more pictures of the area but it was so friggen hot that I decided against it. Oh yah, by the way, it's a 104° today.
We checked in to the Aloft Hotel and were very happy with our room! This room is dirt cheap for $108/night
*Yawn* ok, it's getting late and we start class tomorrow...I better get to bed. See you tomorrow!

Nice room! That meal coulda fed a family!!
I know!! That was a lot of food...we got left over chicken in the fridge for later :-)
This hotel looks way better than the first bed bug one on your last trip and the food/atmosphere looked awesome. I'm drooling, LOL.
Yes, much better...one problem: The air conditioner is EXTREMELY LOUD. Probably as loud as Jalna's ice machine, except that it's 5 feet away from me. I haven't had a good night's sleep yet. With the time difference I experienced some jetlag so I've been having a hard time falling asleep. If I turn off the AC it gets really warm and uncomfortable :(
Ooh, the chicken looks so ono and cheap for so much food. I like the room too, so nice!
It was ono Erick!
cheap ha the food? lol Looked like it was a family meal. Was it ono?
It was actually pretty darn good! Someone told me that most people bring the chicken home and just go to eat the side dishes since they're all you can eat!
