New York City
Randy and I came back to New York, this time with his sister Jodie and her two sons, Joshua and Johnathan. We almost never got here...
Stop over #1: Salt Lake City
We knew that we only had about an hour to catch our next flight so when we got off the plane, we went straight to the departures board to see what gate our next flight was at. First of all, our flight number wasn't even listed. Second, there was a flight listed to Detrioit at the same time as ours but with no gate number. I went to the help phone to see what was going on, and of course the lady on the other end had no idea why our gate wasn't listed either. It just so happens that a girl on the phone next to me was trying to catch the same flight. She didn't want to wait on the phone so she went looking around at every gate. She came back to me about 10 minutes later saying that our gate had a PAPER TAPED UP to the board with our flight number and destination. Good thing because we ended up boarding 10 minutes later. When we finally got on board, our flight was delayed due to some traffic controlling issue....
Stop over #2: Detroit
Just like our SLC flight, we knew we didn't have much time to catch our next flight. This time we couldn't land the plane due to some traffic controlling issue!! By the time we landed we had exactly 20 minutes to get to our next gate. We ran off the plane, only to find out our gate was in another terminal! Did you ever try running through and airport with a 5 year old? Poor Johnathan, he was a trooper, dragging along his tiny roll around suitcase. Actually, I think he was having fun! We got to the gate just at our departure time, only to find out that flight was delayed also. Thank god because I don't think our luggage would've made it on to that flight!
We finally landed in Newark at around 7:00 pm...we were originally supposed to land at 5!
We rented an apartment (I'll show you pics of that later, I'm working with Elements 2 which doesn't process RAW pics and I forgot to set my camera up that way, so I gotta take the pictures over again) and after we got settled in we walked a few blocks to 2nd Ave Deli...
some sights along the way...
Don't worry Kat, I WILL go into this store, I promise!! This isn't the one you wanted but it looked like it had some good stuff

All I can say is YUM YUM!! And can you believe Josh is the same height as me? We measured the other day. Yikes!
