*Yawn!* What a long day we had...we both woke up at the crack of dawn so we could get a full day of fun while the sun was still out. The sun sets around 4:30ish so we had to get moving! In case you were wondering why we are here, supposedly Kyoto is supposed to have a beautiful fall foliage season. We're on a mission to get some cool pics.
First stop, breakfast. We just grabbed a quick bite at the station. A breakfast wrap and coffee or tea cost us 380¥
I was looking for a certain tofu restaurant that Randy and I had eaten at a few years ago. I told Jalna it was by the suuper long escalator. We finally found it. Hopefully we can eat there for dinner tomorrow night. She wanted to run up the stairs instead. NOT.
I love the Kamo River! Randy and I took a couple of self portraits here twice...
Make sure you check out Jalna's blog later so you can see my graceful acrobatics!
Kyoto Botanical Garden
Yay! Some color!!
After the garden we headed to Nishiki Market. Jalna wanted to try some soy donuts and ice cream. It was yummmmm!
We were pooped after all that walking so Jalna hailed a cab to rest our sore feet
It was chilly and started to rain. Ramen was the perfect choice for dinner. We went back to the station to Ramen Alley. Up that looooong flight of stairs to the 10th floor. Boy, was that hard to choose a restaurant!
This was 330¥, the flash blew out the price.
Oyasuminasai!! We're pooooped! We got another long day planned for us tomorrow, hopefully we will have wifi!!

Thanks Mmiissee! Yah, but I was wrong. I think it's more like 5. :( We're rushing around to try and fit as much stuff as we can in the day before the sun goes down!
