Tokyo, Japan
After a long 9 hr flight and a grueling 2 hr wait to get through customs, we finally made it to our hotel...we're staying at the Hotel Villa-Fontaine in Hatchobori. It's a cute little place, pretty affordable too, 31500 yen for 3 nights.
Once again, please excuse the crappy post-processing, I'm on the notebook and only got Photoshop Elements 1 :(
After settling in, it was time to eat! Hmmmm...guess what we ate...yup! Of course our first meal of choice was SUSHI! We went to Tsukiji (we purposely stayed in Hatchobori because of this...only one subway stop to Tsukiji!!) and at at Sushi Zenmai. We've eaten here before, it was really good and really affordable. There's actually 4 of them in one square block!!
2 pc Kohada + 2 pc aji + 2 pc otoro + 2 pc sake + 2 pc hotate + 2 pc chutoro + 2 pc iwashi + 1 pc anago + 1 pc tamago + 1 pc mirugai + 3 beers + 1 sake = 5749 yen!! And it was DELICIOUS! After dinner I stopped by a 7-11 and found this hello kitty thing. I had no idea what it was but it was cute and it came in a ceramic bowl. I figured I'd splurge on the 4 bucks just for the container.
Ok, time for bed, gotta get ready for a long day tomorrow! Only got 4 days here so we're gonna be busy! G'nite!

Hi Jalna! It's now 3 in the morning and I'm wide awake...grrrr...hopefully I can get back to sleep. Gotta get ready for another day of shopping and eating! Searching for a good peeps location today. Glad the pics look ok cause they don't look so good on my screen.
Your photos look great to me, I don't think Elements 1 is too much of a problem. Your sushi shoots look so ono. Sushi is my absolute favorite food, especially from a sushi bar. I Jellos, Jello, Jellos! Please eat a hamachi for me so I feel better. Thanks!
Thanks Erick, that's a relief cause I can't really tell on this computer. The screen is really small and it's humbug to work with. Sushi is my favorite too so I'll eat PLENTY of hamachi for you!! :)
i'm glad you had such a good trip; yeah, japan is a really cool place. i was really lucky and lived there for about 9 and a half years (heaven!). i know what you mean about some of the stores and foods!

Wow, you're sooo lucky! I'd love to live there for a little while...I'd have to brush up on my Japanese though cause I suck! I've been there about 4 times now and we keep saying we don't need to go back anymore, we can visit somewhere else. But the food keeps drawing us back!!
Thanks! We looove Japan, I would love to live there one day for a little while, maybe a year?? I would come back looking like an oompa loompa!
