The Pineapple Room

We held Arlene's baby shower at The Pineapple Room by Alan Wong. Arlene is due on February 15.

Here is Anne's game she had planned for us...5 Categories: baby word scramble, mum-mum, baby boy music, mixed bag, and baby surprise. Each category has 5 point values, anywhere from 5 - 25 points. Kinda like jeopardy, the higher the point value, the harder the answer...AND BOY WERE SOME OF THEM HARD!

If the team couldn't get the answer correct, we had a chance to steal. We could only do this twice.

This is the worried look on Joanne's face when she found out she had to act out the book title "The Boy Called It" No one even heard of this book. Jalna had given the book to Anne and that's how Anne knows about it....

Oh, by the way, Arlene and I came in last place....so sad yah? Cindy and Sam won...

Kapiolani Park

After months and months (or should I say years??) of scheduling, then re-scheduling, Anne and I finally found a convenient date and place to take her family pictures. We decided on the fountain at Kapiolani Park. Of course it was an ugly day (go figure...) and it looked like it was gonna rain...

We started off by the trees first...here's Natalie

I was a bit worried because this is how the first family picture turned out...

I love, love, love this series of pictures...I just wish it wasn't so darn bright!

Meet the newest member of the family, Aunty Jalna...aka the lady with all the squeaky toys!

This is when the kids started to get a little tired of taking pictures...

And Jonah started getting hungry...

Finally it was a free-for-all-do-whatever-you-like kind of pictures

Les & Randy's North Shore Excursion

North Shore, Oahu

I've been wanting to take pictures on the other side of the island for quite sometime now, and I finally got a day when both Randy and I were free. Of course, the luck that I always have, there was VOG. I was so disappointed....

Anyways, first stop, Waimea Bay. Unfortunately the swell had gone down quite a bit so there wasn't much for surfing today.

We then headed off to Pipeline...

Can you see this? There's like 6 or 7 girls here with 2 guys! They must've been happy!

Even with all the no swimming signs posted everywhere, these doofus' still decided to go in...
