It's that time of the year again!  This year we headed to Anne's mom's house and this year the red carpet had to be moved under shelter due to the horrible rain storm that we had :(  But then again, of course we had a great time anyways!  Ironically I didn't see any part of the oscars, too busy talking story...

Gigi's cupcakes

My in-laws just came back from Vegas and they brought us back a tray of Gigi's cupcakes!  I have never heard of her, but mama Kuba called me the other day telling me about this neat cupcake shop she ran into at the Plaza Hotel.  I was excited when she said she'll bring me back a few.  Aren't these the cutest things??  They are absolutely YUMMY too...not too sweet and very moist, just how I like um. Oh yah, they come in regular size too, in case you were wondering.   I kept the brochure...it's giving me some flavor ideas for my next batch...hmmmmmm......

Hawaii Prince Hotel

Marvin's friend Wendy is getting married in a few weeks and he's the "man of honor..." is that what it's called?  Anyways, he asked me if I could take pictures at her bridal shower, he offered to buy me breakfast so how could I resist? :-)

 Marvin made her wear a sash and tiara...she wasn't too happy about that :)

 Guess the spice...this was hard!

 There wasn't much room for games but there was enough space to dress up the moms in a toilet paper dress...

 Not bad for 10 minutes of work!

 I take it that she doesn't like to be the center of attention...

Yah, yah, I've been slacking on my blogging lately, i've just been really lazy.  Anyways, Madison turned one and my neighbor asked me to take pictures at her birthday party.  Look at this girl's hair!! So adorable! I'm not sure if you can tell but this girl has A LOT of hair.  It's soo cute when they don't put it up. 

 Holy cow!  Look who I ran into!  This is my sister's high school classmate Tracy and her daughter Bayley.  I haven't seen her like FOREVER!!

Happy Valentine's Day!  I thought I'd try my hand at making whoopie pies this year for my co-workers.  I'm thinking I don't like them. They're cute and all but they're not as moist as my cupcakes so I was disappointed.   I made a whipped chocolate ganache for my filling but I think the hearts were a little to poofy so the cake to filling ratio just wasn't quite right...
