Sansoucsi Palace

Today we took a side trip to the town of Potsdam, home of Sansouci Palace.  It took about an hour to get there and I'm really glad we went.  Both the town and the palace grounds were beautiful.

 Germans are very bike friendly...
We walked this looooong path which I swear was over half a mile...
we finally made it to the palace
I went to pee and Randy saw this sign:

Even though the palace was closed it was so worth it.  This place is HA-UUUGE. I was telling Randy I think the grounds was bigger than Kailua.  The actual palace grounds was huge too.  I wonder how many people actually lived there.  I would hate to have left something in one room and have to walk half way across the earth to go back and get it!

Dinner was uneventful, our food was kinda junk.  I had some kind of pork chop with cream of mushrooms and weird pasta, and Randy had goulash.  Not worth blogging...

Off to Paris tomorrow but we won't get there till late.  Not sure how much pics I'll get in before my bedtime.  Tata for now!
