Judy, Kenny and Teresa

Kaimana Beach

Judy and Teresa are a couple of my good pals from high school. Judy has since moved to Los Angeles and Teresa moved all the way to Kaaaaaaawa so I never get to see them anymore. The only time we seem to get together is when Judy comes home for a visit.

This is the first time I've met Judy's boyfriend Kenny so I told her I wanted to take their pics while they were here. We grabbed dinner from Fresh Catch (which was yummy, by the way!) and picnicked at Kaimana beach during the sunset. We were so busy eating and talking that we almost missed it! We had about a 10 minute window so we quickly snapped a few pics...
But first, is there any furikake in our teeth??
I have no idea what happened here, Judy looks like she's sucking on a lemon drop and I have no clue what the heck Teresa is doing!!
The lighting was beautiful so I was able to get some natural lighted pictures without the flash! Yay! I dread using the flash!!
Of course, the classic silly picture....
It was great to finally meet you Kenny! See you guys Friday night!!

Enchanted...Fairy Princess Parties of Hawaii

Makiki Valley Trail

Wow. Two posts in one day. That's rare! I figure I might as well do it now while I have the energy...

Armi-Gail is the wife of an old co-worker of mine and she started a new business, Enchanted...Fairy Princess Parties of Hawaii. It's actually really cute, she hosts fairy princess parties for little girls ages 3-7. She wanted pictures for her website so her husband Richard gave me a call to see if I was available. They wanted a "nature" type setting so I thought Makiki Valley Trail would be the perfect location. I've always wanted to come here but I never had a chance. **If you plan on going here, bring some kind of mosquito repellant because I got eaten up!!

I was playing around with photoshop...

Pastor Tom's last day

Sunday, June 13, 2010
Kailua United Methodist Church

This was Pastor Tom Choi's last Sunday with us at our church. He took a position as Hawaii District Superintendent and unfortunately he's unable to stay with our church. He's been our pastor since 1998, and he will be missed. We had a celebration for him and his family after his last service this past Sunday. There was lots of food and activities going on, it was fun!

Pastor Tom and his wife Becky

It was hot, thank goodness for the shave ice!
Speaking of hot, please excuse the horrible lighting conditions...it was BRIGHT out there!
This is one of their twin daughters...ummmm...I'm totally taking a guess here...Sierra? I can't tell them apart unless they're standing next to each other. One is taller than the other! (Sorry if I got this wrong!)
I think this is Marina...
and I think this is Sierra again...boy, I'm really bad at this!
