NYC Day 7

Friday, October 9, 2009
Museum of Natural History

This place was a bitch to shoot in...I didn't bring my flash cause I didn't think they were gonna allow it...BIG MISTAKE. There were flashes going off everywhere! It was really dark in most places so I got a lot of camera shake in my pics. Here are some decent ones (f1.4 at 1000 ISO for some pics!!)
Johnathan, in caveman skeleton form...
Me and Randy in caveman form...
Johnathan eating SpongeBob Squarepants ice cream
In June, a park called the Highline opened up in the Chelsea District. You should read about it, it's really interesting. This used to be an old subway line and they turned it into a park.
We made it up there right before sunset so the lighting was really nice...once again, I wish I had my flash...

Love the sunset over Manhattan. Almost as pretty as a Hawaii sunset. :)

Awesome post on your Day 7. Looks like you had a great day. Your pics make me feel like I was there with you. Was flash photography allowed in the museum or did people just not heed the rules? I looooved all your evening shots. They were beautiful.

Jalna--no flash photography was allowed. I didn't see any signs or hear anyone get scoldings for using flash. >:( go figure. The one time I don't bring my flash...

it was a really nice sunset yah?

I used to have annual membership to the American Museum of Natural History....do you know why? Cuz when family or friends came to visit, I could get them in cheap!...NO!!

Because they had the best friggen dinosaur chicken nuggets EVER!!! And I used to go in like once a week to eat them for lunch!!!

The super sad part...I'm being totally serious!
