Ann Pearl Nursing Home

This is me and my gramma...for those of you who don't know, she's 96 years old!! Anyways, Ann Pearl, the nursing home that she stays at has an annual Grandparent's Day celebration every year. This year is their 29th year of holding this event!

We brought Dylan along, and he was not in a good mood today...for lack of a better word, he was a brat!! Oops, sorry Karie, I really shouldn't say that on a public blog huh?

Here's dad and gramma...

This is my gramma's favorite CNA, Chong. They like to sing Japanese songs together.

These are some of the hard working staff that make this day possible!

Here are some of the residents with their families and nurses...so cute yah?

They had shave ice and cotton candy...

a tatoo and face painting booth...

A merry go round for the kids...

Even a petting zoo!

Games for the residents and children...

They were all so happy when they won a prize!

Now it's gramma's turn to play games!

she won a beenie baby!

These pukas were so small, I wonder if anybody won a prize from this game!

Here's our lunch...a hamburger, corn dog, corn, mac salad and a brownie...all for 5 bucks! Not bad eh? We also got a coupon for a shave ice, popcorn and cotton candy!

This is my dad's cousin Stanley and his wife Akiko

Gramma, Uncle David, and Moongie

This was really fun! Can't wait till next year!

Oh, these photos are so sweet. Wow, 96 years old. This is so neat that the home does this for their patients and the families.

Holy Cow! I didn't know your Grandma was 96!

BTW, I'm coming home next weekend... We gotta go to a fishing tournament and show face.

Wow, looks like everybody had fun. I can't believe all the hard work it must've been to put everything together . . . unreal.
