Day 2 Buenos Aires

Sights around town...
Ok, you'll have to forgive me...I didn't sleep well on the plane, nor did I get a good night's sleep last night also. We took a three hour walking tour today (which turned into a 1 hr walking/2 hr driving), so of course, I passed out in the car, and also got a little car sick. I have pictures but hardly any information. If Randy remembers, he'll update me and I'll put more info on this post...this is Plaza de Mayo

This is our guide Luciano...he was really smart and gave us A LOT of info, I feel bad for falling asleep!

This is where I perked up...I really wanted to go to Caminito St. in a part of town called La Boca. I heard even though it's a touristy area, it's not very safe. I was excited when he took us here!

This is the River in La Boca, I forgot the name and when I googled it, everything was in Spanish! I think it's River Plate...?

Here is the Recoleta Cemetery where Eva Peron was put to rest. It is the most beautiful cemetery I've ever been to.

I really should've been listening to our guide but I decided to take pictures of cats and cobwebs instead...sorry Luciano! :)

Here is Eva Peron's gravesite. I would've taken more pictures but there wasn't much room and a lot of people started coming around...

We ate empanadas for dinner...Jalna, our empanadas didn't look or taste nearly as good as these! We gotta try again!!

Wow Les. I feel like I'm there with you. I love the colors! And that cemetery is unreal. What's the temperature there? How can the empanadas be better than yours? Yours was awesome.

Les, these are great pictures. I love how the houses are painted, so colorful. The cemetery is like a little town, huh. Houses lined up along the street. Very interesting!!

It's been quite warm, unfortunately...I was hoping it was gonna be in the 50s and 60s but it's been about 70 degrees the whole time. I guess I can't complain, huh? OMG jalna, the empanadas were YUMMY!!!
