National Geographic Peeps Contest

Magic Island and Ala Moana Beach

National Geographic has a "Peeps in Places Photo Challenge" so I thought it would be fun to enter this one! They are sooo cute, but VERY DIFFICULT to work with! Thank you to my wonderful assistant Jalna and her mom Mrs. Kihara for hanging out with me this morning!

This was the scene for most of the day:

We liked this spot but you couldn't see the water...

This spot was perfect except that it was waaaay too windy!

We spent more time doing this than taking pictures!

Here's a peep hanging out on a Hawaiian beach...

Jalna found this dog in the bathroom, so she decided to bring him along...

Finally we found a spot with no wind...except that you can't tell it's Hawaii!!

This is Jalna's mom patiently waiting for us and watching us make fools out of ourselves!

I'm not sure which ones I'm entering yet but I'll keep you posted!

Looks like you guys had loads of fun this morning. I had over slept after having smallkine reaction to some shrimp, that I ate without knowing it. Sorry I missed the fun!!!
